The WHW biblical expository conference has some of the top biblical scholars in America that teach every year. This conference also offers tremendous resources and study materials for pastors to take advantage of. In just 35 years the WHW conference has now grown from 37 registrants to over 1,200 registrants. WHW is a ministry that began over twenty four years ago with the vision of three men – Dr. Larry L. Harris, Dr. R.A. Williams, Jr., and Dr. George Waddles, Sr.. These three awesome men of God had a vision to help strengthen the body of Christ by offering pastors across the country a sound expository conference.

WHW Ministries, Inc. has reached many milestones since its inception in 1989. The conference has grown from thirty-five students to a formal educational curriculum, with a partnership with Faith International University and international participation.
WHW Ministries. Inc. would like to honor ministers whose demanding work, dedication, and effort have made WHW Ministries successful. Rev. Michael V. Smith has made an extraordinary contribution to WHW Ministries and has become an integral part of their success. WHW Ministries will honor Rev. Michael V. Smith at the annual banquet on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Marriott Westchase Houston, Texas at 7:00 PM (CDT) at 2900 Briarpark Drive Houston, Texas 77042. Banquet tickets are available at $90.00 each, and table seating at 8 at $720.00 per table. Attire: Semi-formal.
